PAYMENTS

​

Deposit

Non-refundable and paid through paypal.

I’ll book your slot only when the deposit will be received.  If you don’t pay it within 24 hours, I’ll consider your slot available for anyone who wants it.

You will lose your deposit if :

- you cancel your commission

- you change your commission project (new form = new deposit)

- I don't get your model in time.

Payment options :

1st option : Pay in full to book the slot.

2nd option : Half as a deposit, half once done (to be paid within 7 days).

Payment informations : 

Payment is due in Euro (€).

Penalties will be applied for delayed payments (please check on the "unpaid models" section below.)

All payments are non-refundable.

Shipping will be invoiced separately. 

Feel free to use the paypal "pay in 4" option.

SHIPPING

​

Sending your horse to me :

Once the deposit is paid, you want to make sure I get your horse one month BEFORE the painting month we agreed on. If your slot is in February, I need to have the model in hands in January. 

After this delay your slot wil be cancel and you will lose your deposit.

If you need extra time for X or Y reasons, we can talk about it BEFORE paying for the deposit. 

 

 

Customs taxes :

Please note that if you are not from Europe you might have customs fees to pay. 

All extra fees are at your expense.

Custom fees have to be paid before I get the box, so please make sure to keep an eye on your email chatbox to not miss my email. I'll invoice the price of the custom fees as soon as I know them and you will have to pay within 48 hours or I'd not be able to get your box.

Shipping back to you :

The model will be sent back within 2 weeks after final payment. I’ll give you a tracking number.

Insurance : I'll always take an insurance for the amount you paid for the paint work. If you want a bigger insurance to also cover the price of your model, you have to let me know before the payment of the shipping.

 

 

Damage during shipping :

from you to me : Depending on how the damages are, I might ask you to allow me to send it to a prep or repair artist. Everything will be at your expense. I might also repair it myself if I feel confident enough for that. 

from me to you : Once the box is in postal services hands, It’s not under my control. Models are sent well packed. Once the box is delivered you have 12 hours to get in contact with me if the model is damaged and I’ll ask for pictures. It’s case by case. I can’t guarantee any repair offer. And I'll not do any refund. 

Lost box : No refund as it’s not under my control. 

Insurance : I'll of course try to resolve each case with the insurance I took from the postal service. If I get a refund from them, you will get a refund too. But please keep in mind that insurances are not always working well.

OPTIONS & EXTRAS INFORMATIONS

Prepping :

Would be better if your horse came already prepped but I also do basic prepping (just please keep in mind that I'm not a professional prep artist :)). 

Prepping minimal rate is 50€ for traditional & classic ; 30€ for smaller ; and then it will be +10€ per hour if your horse need more prepping.

I don't do prepping on Eberl's models. And I don't accept models coming from Horns from Heaven for my own safety.

Unpaid models :

If the horse is not paid before the deadline, you will be charge of  10% of the price in extra for each month he still unpaid. 

In the extreme case he's still unpaid after 6 months, the horse will ended up for sale. I'll not keep your model for years waiting for a payment.

And if I want to cancel my commission ?

1. If the horse is still with you, I'll keep the deposit and we are done. No worries, you will still be able to grab a new slot later if you want to.

2. If I have the horse in hands but didn't do any work on it : you will have to pay for the shipping back and I'll keep the deposit and/or payment already done. No worries, you will still be able to grab a new slot later if you want to.

3. If I've started the prepping : You will have to pay for the shipping back and the work already done on it. Depending on the situation I might ask you to not take a new commission slot with me in the future. 

4. If the horse is on painting stage (or done) : You will have to pay for the shipping + prepping + painting work already done. The horse will be sent back in primer. And I'll ask you to not come back for a new commission in the future.

Alterations & repairs :

- I do not accept any alteration on my paintings. This means nothing should be repainted without my agreement, it even includes using an other sealer on top of mine. For repairs please contact me before doing anything else.

In the case you want to repaint the horse, you have to fully strip it or fully prime it. 

- I'm using Trello to update the commissions on it, you will get an access to it from the moment I got your horse in hands so you will be able to follow the work made on it. 

- I'll never do copies of my older repaints, this include using two times the same reference. (might happen for solid colors only).

- I'll never do copies of someone else work.

Handmade disclaimer :

Your horses will be hand painted, so they might have little flaws. I guarantee them to be LSQ even if it's pretty subjective. So please keep in mind than I'm a human being so it will not be absolutely flawless.
